Girls understand how I feel when I say "its all so hard". The clothes, the make-up, the hair, the everything to look good. I just dont know how to do it. It's too much, how does a 13-year old girl balance everything on a daily basis under a budget? Can I have some tips? (Include how high the budget can get.)

okay so im fourteen and i know what your going threw.

getting up early may be a pain but its the best way to look good for school. shower in the morning, even if your not washing your hair, you body does get smelly after being in bed for 11 hours.

towl dry your hair, then to finish it off blow dry it how ever you want, the style now is straight.

as for makeup, its a risky thing depending on skin color. light skin needs a more natural color, darker skin needs a color that shoes off their color like, if your mexican go with a deeper bown, african american, go with a golden color.
makeup would cost about 5-10$ at most

clothes---ah clothes-- well major brands are hollistar and ambercrombie, but they are freeking expensive, and un original. i shop at forever 21 or gadzooks, you get an orginal look no one has and its desently inexpencive!
if your getting a hole outfit (shirt pants jewlry)-
on sale -10$
not on sale (20-40$) depends on what you want

just be your self, have fun with the style you want, dont go by what your peers tell you. trust me

I think you should try stores that are affordable, yet really cute for a 13 year old (American eagle, Wet Seal, Forever 21...Abercrombie and Fitch? Although that's a little more expensive) for Makeup, try going to department stores. I know that sounds like a place for old ladies, but Macy's really has some nice makeup and perfume, for young girls! Try 'Princess' by Vera Wang. These are all afordable! Hope this helps! u could go one 1 big shopping trip a month and save all ur money 4 that one trip! all the money u have saved go on the shopping trip and buy new clothes! the make up: u should start to wear make up at age 14! if u start wearing it any younger u will look like u r trying to grow up too fast! the hair: get it trimed every 6 months and if u want a new style wait till ur 6th month time comes and do it then! I know this seems like a lot of money but in reality its not as much as u think!

you're 13 and wearing makeup
sounds kind of ridiculous

try to keep everything natural
remember - more expensive doesn't necessarily mean better: it's been proven that cheaper products work just as well as more expensive ones (don't buy stuff that's TOO cheap though)

DON'T overdo the makeup, that just makes you look gross
use minimal makeup to enhance your features - that way you wound't even have to buy all that make-up

and as for clothes, don't rely on brand names
cheaper brands can look just as nice and most of the time, people can't even tell what brands they are

You're still a child and shouldn't worry about things like this.

Whoops....a boy posted in a (girls only) question. Runs off quickly from a chorus of "pervert!" screams...
