Ohhh That is so hard to decide? I guess I would have to say the ocean because I only get to see it every few years on vacation since I live in Kansas. But I get to enjoy the sky more often. I watched the sky over the ocean in Key West, Florida a few years ago. It was awesome! They complimented each other so well...looking out and seeing no end sitting on the beach made me feel so small in the whole scheme of things.

Unfortunately I am in a prairie city. Haze and sky-shine limit astronomy, and I am far from the Ocean. When I get to travel I love them both. Desert Stars in an area with less pollution(light and haze) or the Ocean (especially tide pools and rocky shores). I can only say that I have a similar problem to yours. It is a great beautiful world! Mountains, prairies, forests, oceans, deserts or lakes, how can one choose to limit appreciating any of it.

I enjoy the night sky because it is so mysterious. Looking up the stars is so peaceful and relaxing. I can't believe how expansive the universe is. It keeps me in line with nature, when I can't get out of the city.
The beach is nice, when I can find the time to go. The best thing about the night sky is, no matter where you go, it will always be there.

Depends on where you are. The night sky can be amazing when you can see stars. Places where you can't really see the stars the night sky can just be a blackness like a black whole. Some places along the beach you can have the best of both. :)
