go to your local hardware or paint store and get the roll of "SHOP TOWELS" not the red cloth ones they come on a roll like papertowels and are soft and absorbent and you can wash them by hand. they're great for many uses

cut up a white t shirt or just by the rags in a box they work just as well you spend less and it lasts longer

i drilled a hole in the bottom and put a mop sponge on the bottom
the kotex-like napkin they use is a waste as it only pushes the dirt around
