This is the story:

I went to a club for the first time in 3 months to meet someone. The cover was $6 and since I only $5 on me, the lady at the door told me to go to the bar and use my bank/debit Visa card to get the $6 there. I had $8 and change in my bank (had not received my paycheck yet) . The bartender wanted to keep the card , but I asked for it back and he ran the reciept and had me sign. Since it was dark and I was thinking I was signing for $6 dollars I did not ask anything and signed.

Guess what? There was $11 charged to my card and now my bank account is overdrawn $2.50 and I will have a $32 bank fee now!

Just in case , he was clever and printed up a reciept showing $11 dollar charge and I signed for it, can I still dispute this?!!

Yes you can dispute it but it might be hard since you signed it.

You can try to dispute it, but if you are mostly worried about the bank fee, you can call them and some banks are allowed to remove the fee as a courtesy, a couple of times. My bank has done it for me many times. Just call and ask.

I believe you should be able to dispute the extra charge and force the club to pay your thirty two dollar bank fee as well.

Banks have had new restrictions slapped on them now so if I were you I'd phone mine up!
Charging you $32 for going $2.50 overdrawn is totally stupid!
Plus in England they aren't allowed to charge you unless you go over £10 overdrawn so I'd definitely check it out.

You can try but you will probably fail. You signed it, so that is giving them the green light. Your signature is like a contract. This is why you must be careful before you sign anything. Take it as a lesson learnt, you won't do something like that again. At least this way it only cost you $35 and not a whole lot more.

Probably not. You signed the reciept. Not looking at it closely is not a valid excuse. If I were you, I'd go to the club and ask for reimbursement from management. If they want to keep your business, they'll oblige.

Tell the bank that you are a student that you cannot afford such fees and ask them nicely, they should take it off for you, If not dispute it. it's your money and if you didn't spend it you can dispute it,
