Single mom of 4 - We sit near, within talking distance, but not right next to each other at games. When we go to the academic/school dinners we always sit at the same table.
My ex does go to school conferences with out me, he goes a different day, and then we compare notes on what was said to each to get the whole picture, whether he is there with his new wife I don't know but I would be happy if she is and that she is involved with the childrens schooling since they are there on weekends and do homework there, that way everyone know what areas they need help in.

Not unless our relationship is a friendly one - i'm there for the kids, and i don't mind going to a parent/teacher conference alone either. One should remember that these things are about the kids and not for me to dwell on him and what he is doing. That will just create problems for me. i would have a problem if his new wife wants to override any decision about my kids at the parent/teacher conference. She would then have to step! No apologies!
