If not, what are your reasons. If so, how old are the children you allow to ride?

Yes, after they have taken a safety class. My step son started riding at 10 on a little 4 wheeler and went to a big one at 12.

I allow my kids to. They are 10 and 14. They have been riding for over 3 years alone. Yes i know four wheelers can be dangerous but my children know the consequences if they dont act right on them. And i trust them to stay safe.

I have 2 children their ages are 9 and 4. They both have their own quads and they both ride. My 4 year old has just started riding by himself. Both of them ride about 3 days per week.

I don't have any kids but I am a nanny for a couple who lets thier child ride quads. He has his 1st electric powered quad when he turned 2. He just turned 4 and got his 1st gas powered quad. He is very good on it, but still wears all the protective gear no matter what. His brother just is turning 1 and is being taught how to ride the electric powered quad already. I think it just depends on how the kids are brought up and how they are taught.

No i do not allow my child to ride or drive a fourwheeler because i did let him ride once with a trusted family member and that idiot almost wrecked with my son on there so no i don't trust anyone to ride my son.
I know how to drive one myself and my husband does too but i don't want to put my son on one cause no matter how good you can ride one you could wreck and it is so easy for one to turn over on you.

I know too many people that have been killed on fourwheelers and motorcycles and i am not going to chance my son's life like that.
Not that long ago a 6th grader was riding his fourwheeler up above my mom's and a car ran into him and it killed him so see i have reasons why.

My son will have to be like 18 or whenever he can buy his own fourwheeler to ride one.

We have 3 4 wheelers. My son is 15. He has rode since he was 5. My daughter got her quad at 4. Hers is an 80. She handles it well. My sons is a 750 brute force and I have a 400 ranch king. Its a fun family activity. The kids are safe on them , and enjoy our time on them. They both ride circles around me, Circling back saying come on momma. They do wear helmets and pads.

I don't have any "young" children...but my daughter started when she was about 4...you just have to protect them with the right equipment..and as they get older a class in "safe cycling"...etc. don't ever let them ride alone or away from where you cannot see , supervise them. And don't start them out on a vehicle that is way too big (cc wise etc.) for them keep it all low-key, small until they learn!!!!!!! Good Luck
