Even with dental insurance a lot of advanced procedures are not covered. You might want to consider a trip to Thailand where they have excelllent dental care and procedures are about 20 percent of the cost in the USA.

I don't know how this can be made any more clear: there is NO way to insure against a given risk.

If you are a terrible driver, you can't buy auto insurance.

If you play with gasoline and matches, you can't buy fire insurance.

If you are 200 pounds overweight, smoke two packs a day and drink a quart of whiskey, you can't buy health insurance.

Get my point?

Insurance is risk sharing. If you have bad teeth and expect an insurnace company to share your risk (which is 100%), you are dreaming.

If you are employed by Boeing, Microsoft, Ford Motors, or some other large corporation, the risk is shared by thousands of co-workers. If you are an individual, it just isn't possible.
