sometimes it won't let me on the internet at all, and other times it's fast. i have the highest internet speed you can get. this is really pissing me off, i can only go online some night for a half hour, and then nothing after that. does anyone know what's going on?

There could be any number of things affecting your internet connection. Trouble with the provider, distributed denial of service attacks on your provider, or ddos attacks that are hitting routers in your area.
Or your computer could have been infected with a worm or virus and it is now being used as a zombie to perpetrate ddos attacks.

You should make sure you have good virus scanner with updated definitions. If your Norton or McAfee subscription has run out, Avast is a good free virus scanner.
