You could probably do it at night if you are over 5 weeks past the first day of your last period.

I tested 3 days before my period at midnight after drinking a 32-oz. Mountain Dew and got a BFP.

The reason the tests say to use them in the morning is because there is a higher concentration of hcg in your urine. You are more likely to get a BFP in the morning early in pregnancy than you are at night, but that doesn't mean you can't test positive in the evening. If it looks negative, just try again in a couple of days first thing in the morning.

You definitely can test tonite...just make sure you have held in your urine for a few hours so its not so diluted and try not to drink alot before you test....you should be able to get an accurate result if there is enough hcg in your system.....Good Luck!

Your best chance of the most accuracy is to test in the morning, but if you are far enough along (4 or more weeks) it's possible to test positive at any time of the day. I tested positive with my first baby when I was only 4 weeks pregnant and I tested at 6 pm. Best of luck!

NO....Do I have to test with my first morning urine (FMU)? Not necessarily. In general, FMU is the most concentrated urine of the day and thus more likely to have built up more hCG in it. If you are testing early (before 14 DPO), the HPT is more likely to detect the hCG in your FMU. After 14 DPO there should be enough hCG to be detected at any time of day. Some women have better luck with second morning urine (SMU.) A good rule of thumb: hold your pee for 3-4 hours (and drink as little as possible!) Then pee in a cup. If your urine looks nice and yellow, it's concentrated enough for testing (see FAQ 16 below for more info on peeing in cups vs. peeing on sticks.) If it looks diluted, dump it and try again later.

You could do it tonight, but make sure you don't drink a bunch before you test...that could cause a false result. It is best to test in the morning b/c that's when the hormone is the highest...but if has been longer than a few weeks since your missed period, you may get an accurate result...good luck!

The reason first morning urine is recommended is because it is more concentrated. You can test anytime as long as you hold your urine for at least 4 hours and don't drink anything during that time so the urine is concentrated. Good luck and let us know the results!

No it dosen't have to be first morning urine, but it will be more accurate, it also depends on how far along you might be, if you arent but a day late or so you should probaly wait until morning but if you are like a week late you should get accurat reading any time.

If your period is 24 hours late, you should be able to test anytime... just make sure you don't drink too many fluids before or you can dilute any hCG that is present in the urine.

if its just about time for your period, use first morning. if you wait about another week or two...it will come up positive no matter what time of day u test.
