by pass the proxy to use oulook express?

Question

I need to use my outlook express to download my pop mails and i have a user name ad password for our proxy server.But i dont know how and where to put the password and username in outlook or is there any other emailer that i can use for this purpose?...help me chek my mail.its a http proxy.

I believe that Outlook Express will use your proxy settings for Internet Explorer.
In IE: Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections tab -> Lan Settings button -> Proxy server section
