I have Limewire basic. I think its pretty good, I'm sort of staying away from files other than audio because I've heard that there are lots of viruses...basically, if you search on Google for Limewire or go on Gnutella Forum, there are steps that can ensure you a better experience (cutting down ways that viruses can be let in) you can follow.

LimeWire, the P2P network is OK. The people I've corresponded with seem to like it. However, I personally recommend BearShare when it comes to P2P networks. BearShare combines the LimeWire network and a few other network to provide fast downloads from multiple sources simply. It's an easy to use, user-friendly interface that can be customized to the more advance to less-advance user. Highly recommended. Note: if you are going to download it, get any version other than 6.x. This will be your best bet for it.

limewire is decent aint bad but does have a lot of lag that comes with it specially on older computers but the best p2p i've come across is ares type google it'll take u to a sourcforge site aresgalaxy somthing but its the best one out only one that is quick to load quick downloads n all that but u should look into utorrent and check out the website torrentspy.com seriously get full length movies at high speeds albums games u name it just tryin to spread the word :D cya

i dont know what it is about limewire but we never got along i couldnt get it download good versions of the songs i wanted and it was forever downloading viruses on my friends computer we eventaully found a program called warez that works pretty much the same and as far as i know we have never had any problems out of it

I even have Limewire. somebody in my community have been given fined by using the RIAA for song piracy. I acquire song illegally each and all the time. each and every physique else does too... the percentages of you getting caught are not large. it somewhat is speedy and undemanding to apply. Limewire professional is somewhat speedy. i prefer to advise it over throughout P2P classes. be careful whilst downloading .exes.

limewire is kinda okay. id reccomend itunes for occasional buying, but for like mucho song buyage, then ya limewire is good

Good for downloading singles, has its virus problems. Just run your virus/spyware on every download.
