What website should I use to start a new blog? I want to be able to link directly to other similar blogs.?

I've tried blogger, but I don't like the lack of customization available. I want to create this blog for multiple users to post humerous photos, signs, letters, etc. that we encounter in our lives. I would like to be linked with other humor blogs. Suggestions?

myspace and facebook aren't blogs. they have blog components in them.

I would use http://www.terapad.com ... Apart from all the other great features you can have multiple editors. Good luck :-)
