35 computers & kids, with 2 small offices either end of the room, it is like a sauna in summer and freezing in winter. We need to know the pro's & con's of evaporative vs reverse cycle.

On a budget, reverse-cycle split-ductless systems (in the states we call them heat pumps) can have a low initial setup cost. They are economical, and provide year-round comfort.
Evaporative sytems are being used more and more, especially in schools and municipal buildings in the states. An evaporative system would typically have higher up-front costs, but will cost less to run annually.
So the question is- are you more concerned with up-front costs, or long-term savings?
The best thing to do is get estimates from several companies, and weigh the cost/benefits amongst the two types-
