There's no such thing as a best computer, there's a best for you. IMO that would be one you build yourself to your likings.
I choose to build my own but if I had to go with a prebuilt it would be a HP without a doubt.
The most popular don't mean its the best.

it appears you go for brands instead of performance. still, just a few words to guide you: you measure a pc's performance by its cpu and clock speed (mhz) and which chip powers the pc. so irrespective of the brand, what you should look for is min. 166mhz cpu, a large memory RAM, and enough hard disk space to download your choice and keep it. if u are the gaming kind, you should opt for a min. of 300mHz and 20GB hard disk. if astronomy or other sciences is your field, you should consult your dealer which pc is best for this application.
the brand names are only there for people like you, pros. would like to buld their own mean machines. talking about meanies, even a 486-family computer is good for surfing the web if you know how to work it. today's linux servers are first/2nd gen green-eyed monsters taking new avtaars. haha.

I don't think the PC matters that much. You just need the right internet connection, software, etc. Also, if you want to download sw so you can play games on your PC instead of online, you need enough memory, Games & graphics take alot of memory.

A lot of gamers like alienware ( http://www.alienware.com ). However most serious gamers and power users usually build their own. You can order cases, PSU, mainboard, processor, RAM, etc off of many different websites and when you are done you will have a much better understanding of your own system.

do no longer decide for assembled. continually decide for branded. that is not clever to advise a variety with a business company. decide for specification of your decision and fee selection. modern-day specification: Processor - Intel icore7, puzzlingpersistent - 500 GB, RAM- 4 GB. visual exhibit unit : Your decision. Video RAM : a million GB.
