I like that name, I always think of the Bible story of the man Daniel when he was put in the lion's den for telling that king about God's prophecy. God pacified the lions for Daniel, and it just sounds like a strong name to me, for some reason.
I like it. My son has a friend that lives up the street named Jonah....I like that name also. He lives there with his grandparents and they and I are good friends now. Jonah is a very well mannered, polite, mature 10 yr old :-) (as far as ten year olds go,) but I think the names we choose for our kids have meanings and virtues.

I love it, my son would have been a Daniel but...My husband's name is Daniel and my name is Danielle :) Plus we would have all been going by the nickname Danny...it was already confusing enough.

daniel is a very strong name but the only daniel that comes to mind with me is the daniel smith anna nicoles son .. god bless him
but if u like the name stick with it its a very handsome name for a boy

I think of the Bible since Daniel is a biblical name. I love biblical names!

DANNY - thats my son's name. I named him so because in the Bible, Daniel was a great prophet. He prophesied about the end times. He was so religious, talented and knowledgable. In the whole of Bible, if there is one prophet who did not sin apart from Jesus. It is him. Do you why? Coz he prayed 3 times a day. He walked closely with GOD. He did not even eat the food of unbelievers. HE gave God the first place in his life and GOD used him mightily for his glory.

I like Daniel... but Dan reminds me of an overweight middle aged manager... it's a blah name like Bob. But the longer version is quite nice.

my cousin Blake Daniel
they are all beautiful people and i love the name i would call my son something Daniel! i think it is a vey strong name!
