I have heard that my slim fit Tv although will receve a HD signal does not display a HD picture.
It says in the documentation that its HD Ready but does not say that it does or doesnt display it, and it has the HDready logo printed on the side of the TV.
It work well with my XBOX 360 in 1080i but Im not convinced,
I dont want to be getting anything like SKY HD if my it wont display it.
Whats the point.??

yes it does come with hd ready........

But been a crt, and having tested with an upscaling dvd player, to be honest with you it wasn't much cope. But better then not having it!!!!!

BUT you do have a slimfit crt, 32 widescreen, hd ready that cost around £450 so thats a bonus.

hope this helps wg

It's not HD, but it will display HD media. This means it scales down the image from 1080 to its native resolution. If you get Sky HD you will probably get a better picture than you currently have, but it won't be HD, just higher definition than standard.

Any Tv that is HD ready is just that, it's ready to put an HD tuner in, so you can get the HD signal. If it doesn't say HDTV compatible, then you need an HD tuner put in.

If the set is HD ready and receives an HD signal, then surely it will display it?
We have one of these tvs and ours is not HD ready. unlucky for us eh?
