You can download ccleaner for free here: http://bit.ly/1Bk5V5C

First open CCleaner
Go to the Cleaner tab and you will be confronted by a very confusing lineup of checkboxes.
To make this brief, below is my recommended setup:
Under internet explorer check temporary internet files, cookies, and last download location. Most users don't really need this stuff. keep history and bookmarks unchecked, history is a maybe, but you don't want to lose bookmarked sites. You can normally leave Windows Explorer, System, and Advanced alone.
Run CCleaner and it will start deleting files.
afterward it will present you with a list of the files deleted, you really don't need to go through it as it will be several pages long.
The registry cleaner is recommended for slightly more advanced users. Use it after uninstalling programs as they will often leave behind incorrect registry entries.
If you decide to run Registry cleaner then review the items detected and always back up the registry (I keep a folder aside for this)
The Tools tab lets you uninstall programs and set startup programs. Why do you need this if Windows has all of these features? Especially with Vista Home Ed. The windows defender software explorer( startup programs) doesn't pick up some entries (however software explorer is easier to use).
Using CCleaner to uninstall programs and then check for leftover registry entries takes less time.
Under Options you can determine how CCleaner cleans your files. I leave this alone.

There's plenty of causes for this, but by far the most common is your security tools - these are the things that filter your internet connection. Try to disable your firewall (you can almost always do it by just right-clicking on the little icon for it (next to your clock, bottom right corner) and clicking on disable. Make sure it has turned off by going into your control panel and checking security center - this will often tell you if a firewall is running or not.

Good luck.

By the way -
USB = Universal Serial Bus
DSL = Digital Subscriber Line

DSL is the data line for the internet, don't know what it stands for
USB is Universal Serial Bus, universal is one, meaning only one type of connection is needed, webopedia.com had the best article about this. It seems that you are downloading too much stuff from the web, I experienced this problem when I was downloading music, but realised that I would be breaching certain laws if I used it for anything. So don't download so much rubbish and your connection will be faster.

Try shutting down your computer and unplug the modem from its power source for 45 seconds, then plug it back in and reboot. This is called "power cycling" and it's usually the most common fix for DSL connection problems, according to Verizon. I also found that switching from Explorer to Mozilla Firefox really made browsing much faster.

I don't like to type much , so he here is whats happening..

Your computer is slow due to lack of maintenance. You need to first get rid of unused junk files from your PC. goto http://www.iolo.com and download system mechanic. Use it to clean the registry , remove junk from hard disk and if possible give a optimized defragmentation ( takes a lot of time ). Your PC will run like a Skyline through open streets.ok ( system mechanic has a 30 day trial period, fix your problem then uninstall it ok )

You can also go to majorgeeks.com and download separate freewares that optimizes hard disk , registry etc.

IF YOU HAVE FREE 24 HOUR / 7 DAY A WEEK TECHNICAL SUPPORT WITH UR INTERNET PROVIDER I WOULD CALL THEM, THERE MAY BE A PROBLEM WITH THEIR LINES OR SOMETHING, AND/OR THEY CAN ADVISE U WHAT TO DO

sometimes i find it useful to pull out the black cord at the back of the dsl box, restart the pc, then wait 30 seconds and plug it back in

Contact your ISP. It could be because there are a lot of people connecting to the iinternet through your ISP at the same time.
