I wash my hair, blow dry straight as possible with Garnier sleek and shine in my hair and sometimes a straightening cream. Then I use a flat iron. I only wash my hair every other day so the look stays that way until I wash again. I may do touch ups as need though. It will depend on how willing your hair is about going straight ;-). But if you start by blow drying your hair straight first it should work really well with a flat iron.

Personally, I like straightning my hair. I know, it's not the best solution because you are basically "frying your hair" but it really helps my frizzy hair stay tame through out the day. You should ge a CHI straightner, I think its one of the BEST ones out there! But that's because I have it. And also, get some kind of hair product to prevent heat damage, it does help. I use the CHI 44 Iron Guard, it sprays onto your hair, then you straighten it, and instead of your hair being steaming hot, it's actually pretty cool to the touch.

My hair is very full and will get wild if I don't keep on top of it. Here is what I do and maybe it will work for you.

First of all, I process my hair. I do a no-lye relaxer once every-other month. (really important to do if you want your hair to stay straight longer)

Secondly, I use a flat iron and shine pomade every morning.

And at night I just wrap my hair up and put a cap on it.

And whenever I wash/dry my hair i use a roller-brush to stretch and straighten my hair.

It's really simple and my morning and nite routine don't take more than 10mins.

I straighten my hair the night before so I can sleep in. Divide hair it 4 sections. Spray heat styler, biolage hair milk, use Redken glass or loreal paris nutitive oleo relax serum. Take a round brush & dry hair. It took me years to get it right! Email me if you neeed help I'm an expert! katemvirginia@yahoo.com

I have naturally curly hair and putting so much effort into straightening it is a waste of time. If you go outside and get caught in the rain or humidity it will only make it go curly again.
Unless you have it professionaly straightened.
