does any one else think that my space is a waste of time?

everyone is on it 24/7 and it gets on my nerves.
alot of people at school are always on the topicc and its very annoying. What do you think about it?

Well, from a 21 year old point of view, I think it's very awesome to keep in touch with friends this way because everyone can access a webpage. In my opinion, atleast everyone knows how to atleast use a web browser.
They may not have AIM, Yahoo, MSN or whatever installed or may not have all the time to give all your friends a phone call..But for some odd reason, everyone has time for fukkin myspace. haha. So myspace wins points for that.

But, with that said. People are retarded for being so involved in a single website. It's a great keep in touch website, no doubt about that, but far to many people devote to much time to this website. Way to much time. It's almost pathetic how much time people waste on here. Looking at other peoples pictures and etc.. Oh hell yeah.. theres some hotties. But crap man, theres also some hotties in the school, beach, malls, stores..etc that you could also stare at as well.

The social networking idea of myspace is brilliant. It's just addictive. Photos are addictive in general. I can see why people are so attached besides posting comments. Viewing photos are just fun. Although, It can be a gateway for all that is wrong. Rapist, molesters.. You might as well throw the women at those types looking for that.

Anyway, sorry for my long boring post.. I'll finish up with...


If you feel like your annoyed at how many people talk/view it in your school.. You should pay attention to these yahoo boards when myspace is down. God forbid myspace is down for 5 minutes man! Everyone seems to go in berserker mode and can't find anything else to do. Post after post of "MYSPACE PROBLEM". "MYSPACE GONE FOREVER???", "MYSPACE DONT WORK BROWSER PROBLEM",

Jesus christmas man! stop with the incredibly stupid impatient posts people.. ARRGHH!! lol

It can be a monumental time waster, but it doesn't have to be. I work for an arts organization that keeps a myspace page as part of its outreach and networking strategy. The point isn't to have a myspace page for the sake of having one, but to use it as an entrance point to draw people in to something they might not otherwise have seen.

It depends on what you use it for. I have an account but don't use that often. It's basically a social network and a lot of younger people are addicted. If you don't have any use for it then don't force yourself. To me it's a waste of time too.

It's only popular because its something new. Wait a little while & eventually everyone will see that it sucks as it has no real purpose, or useful service other than displaying fake information about yourself and pretending to have thousands of "friends".

I also agree. Especially when older adults are on. It's pretty scary what people put out about themselves for the world to see. I would really worry about our children.

It can be, depending on how you use it, and how much time you spend on it. It is an easy way to keep in touch with alot of people though.

i personaly love it because i hate aim i mean yeah im on it a lot but i think myspace is better to keep intuch with people and if you dont want to talk to some people online just talk to them on myspce and everyone thinks its dangrous and its not unless your adding people you dont know but most people dont do that
