I am looking to create a legit website for free without a sub domain name....for example: "www.myname.com" I dont want anything like "geocities".

I am also looking for tools to help me create this website with tons of custom features. So I can store up to 1gb of information.. And "IF YOU DONT KNOW DONT POST". Thank You

If you are going to build a site for business purposes, make sure to get your own domain name. Its cheaper than you think. Here is a guide to getting started: http://www.richkahmer.com/build-a-website.html

first you have to think up a name and extension like .com, .org etc

check the availability of the name

if available, you can buy it online

then look for a webhost to host your site.

There's no way to get your own domain name for free. It's either going to be yourname.hostingsite.com or hostingsite.yourname.com or hostingsite.com/yourname

there's no way to get yourname.com for free. Sorry.

yeah, websites arent free.
you can buy the domain name on GoDaddy.com, where you can buy rights to....say....www.bob.com and nobody else can use it.

sorry, but its the best i can do. Also, after that, you need to be fluent in HTML, and thats REALLY confusing.
