I have curly dark brown (almost black) hair. I was thinking about something like lemon juice, but I dont want my hair to dry out and break. I live in hawaii and am in the ocean a lot so the salt water is kind of rough on my hair already..I also dont want orange hair..:)
thanks!

try a shampoo intended for blondes, or lightening hair. Also since your in the sun that helps too!!! Try lemon juice mixed in your shampoo or conditioner, then your still getting the effects of the lemon juice, just not at its highest concentrate. Also your getting the moisture from your regular shampoo and cond. Also use a syrum like chi BEFORE you brush it. That will get rid of tangles and help keep the hair silky and healthy!!
Hope it helps

Stay in the sun, or use only a little lemon juice, maybe dillute it with water so it doesn't harm your hair. The sun works well though.
