if you're trying to reset your homepage, navigate to the page you're looking for and then "use current page" to make it your homepage in your internet options

there should be a field to manually type in your preferred page, but this is a good workaround in the meantime

also, try downloading an anti-spyware program to check if you have any browser hijack malware that you've picked up
