I am a brunette, and I love it. When I think of a brunette I think of a tall, dark, beautiful girl with gorgoes hair and beautiful eyes. I think that the prettiest kind of brown hair is either really hair (chestnut) or light with caramel highlights. Brunettes can have amny phrases about themselves including "Beauty and Brains" "Brunettes have the most fun" or "Only Barbie's are blonde. I think a lot of older college highschool guys like brunettes while the younger guys like blondes. I think brunettes are so pretty!
Blondes are also very pretty. They are light, pretty, bouncy, and fun. Many people think they are very fun, and they are very pretty. When a person first looks at someone they see their hair color and blonde is very light and bouncy. "Blondes have more fun" is the most popular phrase.
Personally, I like brunettes, because I'm a natural light hair brunette. But, blondes are also very pretty. If you would choose either I would go with blonde, because it looks good on almost any skin color.
It's not true that clorrine can purnamitly damagee your hair. You can always get it deep conditioned to it's original color, or it will just go away naturaly after a while.
In the end, I think all hair colors are pretty, and all hair colors are classic, not just brunette.

well, since I'm brunette, I'm gonna go that route. One saying is: "Blondes do have more fun, but brunettes remember it the next day!" lol
But I have known some super intelligent blondes and some really stupid brunettes, so I don't think hair color really has much to do with what kind of person you are. Just that sometimes I think blondes play the "dumb" role because they think that others think its "cute" or they think that people expect it from them because they are blonde.
Me personally, even though I'm brunette I have my fair share of "blond moments" as I am sure that everyone does.

As someone who has been both blond and brunette, both are good to be. It doesn't matter what the hair color is, it's the person beneath the hair that matters. Of course, it is more fun to perpetuate the myth, so, since I am blond now, GO Blondes!!

Hi blonde here and I swam for 10 years in nasty chlorine water with highlights, Malibu 2000 has a leave-in treatment and a couple other products that work well at preventing and treating build-up from the chemicals in pool water. I usually found these at Sally's beauty supply store or some salons offer the Malibu treatment at a reasonable cost. Oh good tip, before you go swimming get your hair wet and put some conditioner in it, dry hair absorbs chlorine easily. Hope this helps :-D

I personally think brunettes are better. blonde hair has so many drawbacks:
1. Everyone can see your roots if you aren't a true blonde
2. Chlorine can change your haircolor (makes it brassy)
3. Everybody wants to be blonde- don't be a conformist
Brunettes seem to have more color and exotic depth to their hair, whereas blondes all seem the same shade.

Wouldn't it suck if everyone had the same haircolor? I think diversity is beautiful and should be valued. With that said, what's trendiest and most in fashion right now is going darker than your natural hair color. That means that if you have medium brown hair, you'd add dark brown lowlights. I think you need to pick what looks best with your skin and your features and should consult with a stylist, but I trust that you're a beautiful person inside and out regardless of your hair. Good luck and I think you are smart enough to make a good decision for yourself.

I do not think that blondes are dumb, or that they have more fun. And i do not think that brunettes are more classic. It is just a hair color....it cannot determine who you are.

I have been blonde multiple times and i have been brunette multiple times. I really don't think either has more or less fun. They are both great lol so i can't pick just one.

not true, i'm a straight A student and i'm a blonde, but blondes do have more fun!! :) brunettes are ok though, but guys gravitate towards blondes mostly! no offense meant!

No, those stereotypes are not true.
I can't choose one because .. I don't think either color is better than the other. I just like shiny, healthy, radiant hair.
And YES, it can. If you dye your hair blonde, it will go green.
