shampoo really well and condition. dont use leave ins as i find it makes it worse grease wise. blow dry the roots up, that will create volume and the heat will help set it.

One thing that always tends to remedy oily hair is a different routine. Make sure that you only wash your roots to your ears with shampoo, and then only condition the ends. Using conditioner on roots will cause buildup, which will weigh your hair down and make it look flat. If this doesn't solve your problem, then try using a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner. One problem that people always make is to switch to just using shampoo, and then their hair isn't oily anymore, but now it is dry and looks like hay. If even that doesn't work, use an intensive clarifying shampoo (like Neutrogena's Clean or Aveda Shampure) every other day, and a shampoo and light conditioner the other days. You will also notice that the cleaner your hair gets, the more volume you have. Buildup usually causes oily, flat hair, and a shampooing regime should get rid of that.

Treating Oily hair: Other tips
1. Do not use detergent shampoos.
2. Do not use oils unless the cleansing routine leaves your hair extremely dry.
3. Regularly massage your scalp.

Mix a tablespoon of Malt Vinegar in a glass of water. Add a pinch of salt in it. Dab two tablespoons of it on your scalp and massage it with your finger tips twice a week. Leave the lotion on for one hour. Rinse with cool water, brush and set your hair.

1. Buy some shikakai powder from the market. Powder some green grams and fenugreek (methi) seeds. Mix two portions of shikakai powder, one portion of green gram flour and half portion of Fenugreek powder and keep it. When required, mix a tablespoon of this mixture in the white of an egg and use it as a shampoo. It does not lather like a soap, or shampoo, but cleanses the hair.

2. Take some dry soap nuts (reetha) and soak them in water overnight. Mash them in the morning and strain the soapy solution. Add a teaspoon of shikakai powder and wash your hair.

Baby shampoos are your secret weapon. They’re gentle enough to wash your hair, but they also break down all the residue that’s piled onto your hair. Use large Velcro rollers to roll hair when it’s 95 percent dry. Blowdry the rollers for 5 minutes and then spritz a salt spray to your roots to add extra body.

Try a clarifying shampoo, and skip the conditioner, unless your hair starts to feel dry.
Also, brush it well with a natural bristle hair brush.
