There is quick way to set a new homepage in Firefox.
(1). Open the page you want to use.
(2). At the lefthand side of the address there will be an icon. Drag the site icon onto the Home icon on the Firefox toolbar.. and the new homepage will be set.

If it is Firefox 2. This may also work on Firefox 1.5, just try it...

On the Menu Bar (File, Edit, View, etc.) select Tools then Options.

a new window would open, click on 'Main'.

on the first section named 'Startup' there are three buttons in it:
1. Use Current Pages
2. Use Bookmark
3. Restore to Default

click on button # 3, then click Ok...

that's it. it would return to the normal page or the default page when you first installed firefox.
