If it's not in your head, you can use any anti-fungal ointment, lotriman or Tinactin, Blue Star ointment worked best for me to treat it. As a mother of several kids who went to daycare, this has come up a couple of times, just keep it on there all the time and it will heal.

Ringworm is a nasty, highly contagious fungus and can easily spread to your family, children and friends, even your pets. Ringworm may leave you with open sores that are a breeding ground for infection. Worse yet, its effects can spread all over your body with simple contact. Ringworm fungus, left untreated will last for weeks, months even years. Please go to the doctor's immediately to get it treated, as ringworm does not heal on its own!!!!

It won't heal. It's a fungus that will continue to grow in size if left untreated and it will spread.
