So my mom got an "verify account/password" email the other day, supposedly from myspace. I figured it was spam and told her just to delete it. But today, because it was bugging me, I went to the myspace home page and tried to log in with her email and the password listed in the email (maybe a stupid move on my part)...and sure enough, there's an account.
I contacted myspace and demanded they delete the account, but so far, no word from them.
I'm worried because someone has used her email address to illegally create an account.
What should I do?

I doubt it's a big deal. What you can do is log into that account since you have the e-mail and everything and delete it yourself. You don't have the password, but just click on something that says "lost password" or something and they'll email it to you.

They can't correctly use myspace without checking your mom's email because they have to verify the address. So I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Uhm.
If someone just used her email, it doesnt matter.
It just sucks for them.
Not you.
rofl.
Just click the button that says verify account, and then you will know their password and sht.
I would go on their account every once in a while and see their stuff

Try talking to your mom and see if she did it if she didnt then try to hack the account and find out who did it
