http is hyper text transfer protocol and describes the "language" that the communication is in. others might be FTP for file transfer protocol etc. The www is just the first part of the address and can be www2 or news or lots of others it doesn't really matter to the web page anymore than if I change my house number from 7 to "rose cottage" - same house, same place - postman can still find it just a different way to get to it. (I know that doesn't quite wash but it is kind of right)

http:// stands for hyper text transfer protocol, the act of sharing online text by transfering it to your viewer (Not quiet accurate technically, but expressively describes what is going on)

www is for World Wide web, the online network where webpages are stored. some sites are designed that they don't require all the w's to find them.

sounds like some youngster precisely as you suggested..on a skill vacation. i'd contact him back, and state that "Your criminal specialist will be contacting him quickly, as that is a contravention of the privateness act, and in spite of if it become no longer HIM that revealed it up there, as information superhighway"carry close", he's finally to blame. Elude to the very undeniable truth that no matter if it isn't performed in the prevailing day, "Your criminal specialist stated That" you may want to regulate digital mail addresses, and suing for Damages will be coming near near. ;) solid success,
