You don't need to use somebody else AIM account. It's very simple to create one of your own, and customize it just as you like it.
go to www.aim.com, and click on "get a screenname" next to Mail on the left. After that, just follow the simple instructions for creating your account, and download AIM.

no you may not for one i dont use AIM it is crap (no offence to those who use it) but its a virus let say you get it.. sometime later down the road you decide you dont want aim anymore its stuck on your computer and its a *itch to get it off.
