I guess it depends... I used to live in South Africa and if someone steals money from your ATM that doesn't stay as a concrete or solid case..
You have the PIN code and I belive you know what it means. PIN (personal identification number) and only the owner of the card is supposed to know it.
Unless if you were robbed and you have a case number that is when you'll have your card stoped but not your money back.
I guess it depends on where you live, if it is a reckless place like S.Africa or Brazil or Mexico or even Russia you are basically wasting your time.

Sence you know sho it is the best way is to comfront them about it and tell them that that is illeagel so, you can report them to the plice and go into court sence you have proof...even if you don't it will scare them to def and they will most likely apoligise and beg for forgiveness only forgive them if they give you the money back. it the perfect plan!!!

why do you have an atm at your home?
If it was me i would punch him/her... then kick him/her... then once more for good mesure
But im sure you want a more legal way... Have you talked to him/her? Have you talked to the cops?

Have you confronted your friend? Make sure you know they are guilty before you call them on it.
