Do Canadian realtors qualify for a TN Work Visa if they are planning to relocate and be self employed realtors in the US? How do I do this?

Currently, some states allow for non US citizens to be licensed as realtors. I wonder then if Immigration will grant visas if the brokerage sponsors? Thanks for any constructive insight.

You gotta pass the exam, get a broker to sponsor you, and file for a business-owner visa.

Oh, and spell in US English. It's 'practice' here.

You CANNOT work for yourself under the TN classfication.

It doesn't matter what your occupation is (as long as it meets TN criteria) ... you must be sponsored by an American company.

Entrepreneurship can be possible under some types of B1 visa (in special circumstances) ... I'm not sure that being a realtor qualifies you, though.

And the occupation of realtor absolutely does NOT qualify for an H-class visa (of any form).

Call an immigration lawyer in Buffalo who practices in Toronto or the border town where you live. They will best advise
