I use several programs, some of which are free, all of which are cheap, and I haven't seen a popup in years. I think the most effective is Popup Blocker

However, most browsers, taskbars, and other ancillary programs automatically block most popups.

As to reporting them, There's someplace in the government that you can go, but it's like anything in the government--a black hole; once you've reported them, you never hear from them again, and nothing ever happens. You could try to contact your state's attorney general's office to see if they can help, but unless the origin of the pop-ups is in your same state, it's a waste of time. And it's another black hole, as far as I'm concerned. Like the do-not-call lists.

The best way to deal with those ads is get a popup blocker, or a good all-around spam/virus/popup/malware blocker (like Norton's, or others) and let them take care of it. DO NOT click the little button at the bottom of the ad that says "unsubscribe" to this ad; all you are doing is saying to the people who sent it there that here's an e-mail address which has people at it. Let's send them bunches of stuff. Just ignore it.

well, unless the pop-up contains child pornography, then you cannot report it. there are no guidelines or moral standards to the internet. just laws on sexually exploiting children. so, you cant report these pop-ups; if they are, in fact, exploiting children, then you can report it to your local authority, and it will be sent to where it needs to go.

Go to the link in the pop-up, in Contact Us, blow up on them lol

Porn pop-ups are a sign that you have spyware on your computer. Use Ad-Aware to remove it.

You can't - just get a pop-up blocker.

You can't, just close them.

Also, update your internet explorer and it will automatically block them to begin with.
