If the transaction appeared to go through, you will probably be overdrawn, but I'm not positive. If your paypal balance is zero, or less than the amount you are spending, they will try to take it from whatever card info, or bank account info was submitted. Even if you quit using the card, your paypal account can still be used kinda like credit if someone sends you payment via paypal it will add to your balance, just keep it above zero. I am still using my paypal account, and my credit card was cancelled over a year ago. Its pretty much an online credit, and it comes in handy, seeing as how most sellers on ebay insist on using paypal.

If you've already got a receipt, then you can check it yourself to see where they charged. Login to Pay Pal, go to the History tab, click the transaction, then look at th detail.

It will tell you if it used your bank account or credit card.

Unless you specifically authorised the transfer from the Credit Card, usually you have to Transfer from the Card to Paypal.
Depends on your setup, if it is basic, or merchant level

They will bill the source of payment that you selected at the time of purchase. When that payment method return void. They will then bill the alternative source of payment you registered with them.

good luck.
