My computer is used by others and I don't want a particular person to know what pages I have viewed or links that I've clicked. I deleted cookies, my temp files and did a defrag, but it's still showing pages and links that I've accessed.

Open the browser, and click on Tools --> Internet Options.

In there, you should see a button to Clear History. Click on that, and it will remove the link hits. You can also hit the remove files for the Temp Int Files. This clears up space on the system.

It's just the browser history (CTRL+H) that needs to be purged. You can leave the cookies, temp files and everything else in place.

You might also go into internet options and change the color settings on 'visited link' so they are the same as 'un-visited' links. That way you never have to worry about clearing anything.
