do you straighten your hair? if you do that might be the reason.
pantene is not an expensive shampoo, you can now get nexxus at target and kmart and walmart. its the real stuff, go get humectress and therapy shampoo and cond.
it will help alot. it is more than pantene, but it will save your hair.

I wouldn't waste money on expensive shampoo. Walmart and Target and other stores like that have generic brands of stuff - I always use generic baby shampoo, and then I splurge on an expensive conditioner. If pantene is out of your spending limit, many places have generic brands for things like pantene. Personally, the generic brands of "Garnier Fructise" are usually what I like. Try not to blow dry your hair too much, also. Blow drying definately causes drying and breakage. Another trick I use is to use a very small amount of conditioner daily as a leave in conditioner. Just brush or comb it into your hair once a day and it usually makes your hair more manageable. Good luck!

Swimming and overshampooing are two common causes of dry hair. Also avoid colorings, permanents, electric curlers, excessive blow-drying, and too much exposure to wind and sun. Use only a mild shampoo, one labeled for "dry" or "damaged" hair. You can get your ends trimmed so they break less often. If none of this was any help to you, anyone at a salon will be more then happy to answer your questions.

Pantine is NOT EXPENSIVE. lols it cost like 10 dollars. While taken a bath/shower, brush your hair with a comb. Massage your head with deep conditioning. after done taking a bath, put the towel on your hair. cover it all so no dirt is in it until it`s completely dry. apple mousse in your hair offen .don`t straighten it with a straightener. use a clothes irons instead.

Straightening, curling, or blow drying your hair can really cause some damage. I have the same problem. Well i know one product that works really well, but it is quite expensive. It's a deep conditioner from Bed Head, and plus, it smells like mint ;) !! I really like Bed Head products, and they really work. Hope I helped :)

What are you eating? Are you eating soy? That messes up your hormones and makes your hair fall out.
You should be tested for thyroid problems too.
