it depends on wat texture you hair is in at the moment. weather it be thin, course, soft ect! i'd personally recomend that you relaxe the hair first then use wax to get the spiky look. but depending on the lenght the relaxer should take it to the striaghtist so there would be no need for wax! the hair shoud be 2~3 cm long

You can get spikey hair without straightening your hair, though it may not look exactly like it does on straight hair. Here's a link to a picture of my hair in spikey two strand twists:

You can make them spike more or less using gel, a blow dryer on a cool setting, your fingers, etc. If you don't want parts, you don't have to part your hair - just grab sections and twist them.
You can also wear the twists with the sides and/or back shaven, which could look cool.

okay cool question how long do you want is my question ( i went to hair school) but if you want it medium short i would just buy a tbc perm or a short hair texturizer(sorry soelling) and let it sit (follow the direction for you hair type) so you dont over process it and then you can put on gel and spike it however you like
p.s. don't over process it if you do it will feel rough

Yeah, it depends on the texture of your hair. You may need to relax or blow it out first and then spike it with gel, mousse, or flat irons.

of course you can but only if you have long hair not bald. Just do some gel and you will have spiky hair.

Of course you can, just get some of the 'hard' gel stuff (like the 'Shockwaves' brand) and go for it!
