Why is Butane a liquid inside a lighter?

Extreme pressure.

Don't punch holes in cans of shaving cream or soda or likewise ^_^

Because there is a lot of pressure in the lighter which "forces it" into the liquid state.

because gasoline is way toooooo flammable
