Which is the best chi to get for under $200? if it's really worth it, a little more than $200 will be fine. My hair is really poofy and frizzy, which will work best? And do any salons or other stores carry the brand? thanks! ... oh, and any other straightener

I have a CHI, and when I bought it 2 years ago, I decided just to stick with the original and it works great. I have a friend who bought the CHI Turbo, the one with red velvet on the outer plates, and after a few weeks of use the velvet part was almost entirely melted, and the flat iron itself is much thicker than the plain one. If you ask your hair stylist, (s)he will definately know what you're talking about and where to get one for about $112.99.

OK!! Listen up......I have some great news for you sweetie! You dont have to buy the CHIS anymore because they arent the best anymore. I`ve found an awsome straightener that works even better, I know because my sister has a CHI and my straightener works even better. I know your probably thinking this girl is crazy a CHI is the best but you definetely should check out this straightener : jilb`ere de paris NANOsilver Ceramic. The best part is that this straightner costed wayyyyy less! You`ll have to find it at the mall or something like that godd luck!!

The Chi really is the best. I have had mine for almost 2 years now and it works great! It makes my hair so flat and straight (I have super curly/frizzy hair). Anyway, I didn't want to pay the whole $150 either...solution: EBAY!! I got mine there for under $60.
:)
But it really is worth it. Just make sure you get some good products (Redken heat glide is fantastic) to protect your hair!

its about $150 but doesnt fry your hair.
the heat ranges from 140-400
takes less than a minute to heat up and you get SUPER straight hair.
