metal spherea has a charge -2 and sphere b has a charge of -4. if 2 sphere are brought together then seprated the charge on sphere A will be?

The answer is -2.

Note that both spheres are negatively charged, meaning that bringing them together will just make their repulsion for each other much greater. There is no equalization of charges here because negative charges repel each other.
