i am the queen of simple and easy with 3 kids and a hubby :)!! i take my chicken breast and cut them into slices and i buy the teriyaki sauce its in the barbq section of the store and i put my chicken in a pan and start browning it and i start adding my teriyaki sauce after my chicken is done i add my stir fry veggies (extra) and more sauce and saute until done!! it is always a hit at my house. it only takes about 45 min to prep and cook!! good luck sweetie :):)

EASY CHICKEN TERIYAKI

2 skinless chicken breasts
Teriyaki sauce
Lemon-Pepper Marinade Seasoning (Lawry's)

Rinse chicken pieces and pat dry. Place chicken in baking dish and pour 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce over chicken. Coat chicken on both sides. Sprinkle both sides heavy with Lemon-Pepper Marinade Seasoning and bake, uncovered at 325 degrees for about 1 hour until tender and slightly browned.

10-12 Skinless Chicken Thighs
1/2 Cup Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup White Sugar
1/4 Cup Cider Vinegar
1 TBSP Cornstarch
1 TBSP Cold Water
2 Garlic Clove (Minced)
1 tsp Fresh Ground Ginger
1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Combine the soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, cornstarch, water,
garlic, ginger, and pepper in a saucepan.
Mix well while bringing to a simmer.
Let the teriyaki sauce simmer, constantly stirring, until
the sauce comes to a light boil and thickens.
Remove from heat.
Line a 9 X 13 baking dish with foil.
Spray with cooking spray.
Put the chicken thighs on the baking dish.
Generously brush each piece of chicken with
the teriyaki sauce on both sides.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Baste the chicken again with the teriyaki sauce.
Bake for 20 more minutes.
Baste the chicken again.
Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until done.
Serve with your favorite vegetable.

Easy Chicken Teriyaki With Linguine:

30 min 24 min prep
4 breasts

1 lb linguine, broken in half (can use less pasta if desired)
2 tablespoons sesame oil
3-4 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut lenghwise into about 1/3-inch strips)
salt and pepper
10 green onions, chooped to about 1-inch pieces
2 large carrots, peeled and sliced paper thin diagonally
1/2 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes (or to taste)
3/4 cup purchased teriyaki sauce (or to taste)

1. Cook noodles in a large pot of salted boiling water until JUST firm-tender; drain and return to pot.
2. Add in the sesame oil; toss to coat.
3. In a skillet or wok heat oil over high heat.
4. Sprinkle the chicken strips with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet; saute until no longer pink (about 2 minutes).
5. Add in green onions, sliced carrots and crushed red pepper flakes; stir-fry until veggies are crisp-tender but still bright in colour and the chicken is cooked through (about 2-3 minutes longer).
6. Add in the cooked noodles and teriyaki sauce; toss well to blend.

Easy Chicken Teriyaki

4 servings 55 min 10 min prep
Change to: servings US Metric
4 boneless chicken breasts
1 large onion, sliced 1/4 inch thick (red, white, yellow)
1-2 large bell pepper, sliced 1/2 inch thick (red, green, I use a combination of red and green)
1 (15 1/4 ounce) can pineapple slices
bottled teriyaki sauce
butter
4 pieces heavy duty alumium aluminum foil
salt and pepper

Place one chicken breast in center of a square of alumium foil and salt and pepper.
Layer onion and bell pepper slices and 2 pineapple slices on top of each piece of chicken.
Drizzle 1-2 tablespoons of bottled teriyaki sauce over chicken mixture.
Put 1 tsp butter on top of pineapple slice.
Seal up alumium foil by folding edges together.
Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 45 minutes. You can also put these on the outdoor grill on indirect heat. Serve with rice.
