Personally, I recommend that you go for an ultra conservative look. If you appear professional and upstanding, then you will get better results. This is not fiction, this is a proven fact. Studies have been shown that dressing for success directly reflects in business transactions (applying for loans, haggling on the price of a new car) job interviews, etc.

A nice pantsuit would be acceptable, perhaps a black or navy blue. A similar color with a pinstripe would also be acceptable. I think you should wear your hair in a sophisticated up-do... it shows class and a nice clean, put together look. Heels are also acceptable, flats wouldn't finish out the look.

Also, keep jewelry or bling to a minimum. If you married, your wedding set and a watch is acceptable. If you'd like to wear something else a nice pair of earrings, perferrably small hoops or better a pair of studs would be more suiting. If you forego the earrings you could consider wearing a simple broche on your lapel.

Some people like a pop of color... don't do this with your suit. If you feel you need a pop of color, I recommend pairing your suit w/ a nice crisp white blouse and get your color from a silk scarf neat tied in.

Remember to keep good posture, make eye contact and answer questions directly!

Good luck!

I would say a skirt and dressy top. Flats or LOW heels. I would wear the hair up, it looks more professional.

Plain business attire. All of the above are fine.

It does not matter what you wear at all. All that matters is if you have good credit and if you have a good income.
