The casino Montecio does not exist the inside is all a prop built to look like a real casino even the on sight out door shots are built for the show only the shots of the Las Vegas strip are real. the out side of the Casino is computer generated

It is filmed on a soundstage in California. But they do come out to Vegas for some shoots.
It is the same for CSI. The majority of it is filmed in CA, they will show up for some specific shoots in Vegas occasionally.

Season one was filmed at Mandaly Bay. Than they built a sound satge that resembeled MB.
The cast and crew returns here every couple of months for exterior shots. The Valet area is often the Four Seasons (attached to MB)
They move the Monticito often, but usually is computer imposed in front of the Luxor (next to MB)

They have filmed parts of it inside Mandalay Bay and allowed the actual casino workers to show up in their uniforms and be extras.

The film is called Las Vegas and thus it's very obvious that the film is shooted in Las Vegas' casino.
