Herbal Essences tends to dry out my hair.. but their new Orchid fusion line (or whatever it's called) with cool curvy bottles and shapes, that aren't see-through clear gel shampoos are very VERY good.

I think one of the smells is Coconut Orchid Milk or something... And is in a blue curvy bottle, very cool looking and smells heavenly.

I personally think that herbal essence is better than pantene, but if ur willing to spend a little more money you should try John Frieda shampoo and conditioner. It comes in a variety like sheer blonde, brilliant brunette and also for red heads. I started using this shampoo recently and have seen major results. I lose less hair and even after blow drying it still is really smooth.

I use panteen, but thats cause it works! I found out that If you want the "scent" than go with Herbal Essence...Pantene- If the bottle says for smoothing or straigtening, it will do what it says...I have curly hair, and when I used the straightening one..It really did straighten! thats my 2 cents...

I don't like either one of them: Herbal Essences dries my hair out and Panteen coats it and makes it limp. My current favorite is Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo - it wakes me up in the morning and doesn't coat or dry out my hair.

Neither! The absolute best is the new brand just coming out called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! The have different collections for different hair types that are all amazing! You'll be able to get Organix in the next few weeks at Target, Albertsons, Kroger, Duane Reade, Safeway, etc. Its the best! You'll love it!

The new herbal essences like someone else said is good. I use the "none of your frizzness" kind. It's orange and kinda sparkly. I haven't used pantene in a long time so I can't say how that works for my hair. I like sunsilk (the pink bottle)!

I think Pantene is actually a better product although it doesn't smell as nice as HE. I love Pentene and use it with the conditioner. Remember, change your shampoos monthly..that's supposed to be better for your hair.

Use a shampoo for dry hair. one which will positioned moisture back in , and a conditioner with moisture. It somewhat help the hair. additionally provide your self warm oil remedies as quickly as a week. this might decrease down on the frizzies. sturdy success!

I've heard they're both bad, but don't take my word for it :/
Personally, my favorite is the mosturizing shampoo and conditioner from bath and body works. They all smell dead amazing and work great. You can get the shampoo and conditioner for $10 there.
