Your mustache will continue grow at the same rate it would have grown if you had never shaved it. Hair follicles are beneath the skin, and are not affected by shaving. If your mustache is just starting to come in (you're a young man) it may seem to come in thicker if you shave it, because it naturally will come in thicker as time goes by. This is especially true if you shave it for a few months before you let it grow in again. Also, if it is wispy now and you shave it for a while, then when you let it grow the new growth may seem a bit less wispy.

Normal.

I've done this several times myself throughout the years. It's never any thicker, or not so that one could tell.

Maybe if you were a girl shaving her mustache it would be different, but on men it usually doesn't grow back thicker.

The only way it would grow back thicker is if your hair follicle has been damaged. but if you shave it does not grow thicker all your doing is shaving it down to the surface your not tearing it out of your skin

It will only get thicker as you age. Shaving is just shaving and does not make your mustache grow thicker.

Shaving does not make your hair thicker. The blunt edge it has after shaving makes it LOOK thicker than the tapered edges of a fresh hair.

Its a a good bet that it will grow back darker and thicker, because you will cut all the soft blond hairs and then they will regrow black. This is not a guarantee some people just don't grow dark hair so it wont work as well for some people.
