Pulleys- some questions I can't understand?

In #1, the IMA does not change with loading. The Actual MA may be effected however.

#2 The IMA of a pully system is determined by counting the number of 'parts' (ropes) that are attached to the 'load pully'. If you add more pulleys to the block, you increase the number pf 'parts' that lead to it.
Every time you add more to the path of the rope and make it more complex, you also add more losses. This will reduce the efficiency of the system.
