Try looking up SoundForge products.

Audacity is a free audio editor availabe at http://audacity.sourceforge.net but won't be a full featured as commercial solutions.

Hi jasoncon13,

I don't know about Windows, but "Garage Band" sort of reminds me of my old Commodore Amiga's program, "Instant Music" by AE software. Of course, "Garage Band" is a lot more sophisticated and can save songs that you create into MP3 files, which is really cool.
