When you open a photo in paint, how do you change the photo to black and white?

Image->Attributes->select Black & White->OK

This WILL make it black and white though, not greyscale.

There is no such function in MS Paint. Use Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com)

CLICK "IMAGE" THEN "ATTRIBUTES". UNDER COLORS CLICK BLACK AND WHITE.
