I just went into the doctor's bc I was having a lot of discharge. It ended up not being amniotic fluid, but they did an ultrasound to check out myu levels. She said it was at a 10. I am 33 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Baby looks great!! She said that this was fine...but online I see that 10 is considered low.

Should I call back?? Or wait till my next appt. What can do I to get the levels up. Now I am worried about him being stillborn...god, sometimes I hate the internet!!!! Now I will do nothing but worry!!

Please any advice...is this normal, good, or low??

Believe me when I say "You are fine!" because I am a mother of 3 and 2 of the babies were taken early due to low fluids. With my son Jacob, my last 2 months of pregnancy I had to get my fluids checked because I am of slender build and I was no longer growing, but baby was. They induced labor a week early because my number got down to 6!!!!! With my daughter, I went in for a routine ultrasound (I say routine but it was because I was high risk so I had one every other week) when I was 36 weeks and I seen the look on her face and she said she had to go talk to my doctor. Before she left I asked if my water was low and wanted to know the digit. She told me 4.6 and I immediately told my husband that I was going to have this baby today!! He didn't believe me but when the doctor came back in, I told him I already knew what he was going to say.

The months leading up to both deliveries though I was told I had to drink 100floz of water A DAY! Drinking more water throughout the day helps increase babies intake and then they urinate more which of course makes more fluid. I am absolutely sure that this bought me more time with my daughter and was lucky to even have her at 36 weeks!!!

My suggestion hun, is to start drinking more fluid but as it stands right now, fluid reading a 10 is still pretty darn good. I'm under the impression that they don't ever want the fluid to go under 7.

Good Luck with baby and rest easy. You are doing a wonderful job!!

i replaced into informed I had low amniotic fluid at one component interior the process my first being pregnant. I drank a lot of water like they informed me to, and it replaced into completely fantastic with the help of the time I had my save on with-up ultrasound. With my 2d, I had consistently intense blood stress for the full 0.33 trimester, yet no longer somewhat intense sufficient to be intense. We have been in simple terms monitoring it. Then some days until now my due date it have been given larger and my midwife ordered a 24-hour urine sequence try, which got here back with protein interior the urine, so i replaced into clinically determined with pre-eclampsia. around the comparable time i began out having a lot of swelling (my ankles have been extensive!), which I hadn't had until now and did no longer have with my first being pregnant. i'm somewhat advantageous that replaced into yet another symptom of the P-E. i think of you're probable fantastic, and ought to easily wait until Wednesday. on the different hand, that's recommended to contemplate switching to a distinctive prepare. i realize it is not relaxing to try this this late on your being pregnant, yet canceling appointments without informing you is undesirable corporation prepare. If something intense does arise, you do no longer choose them doing that to you back. What while you're scheduled for an induction and that they cancel it? or you're on the scientific institution in hard paintings and the place of work paintings stress fail to talk that on your wellbeing care provider? in case you compromise directly to maintain the comparable wellbeing care provider, a minimum of make a criticism to the wellbeing care provider related to the place of work paintings stress.
