For some yes for others no... ask your doctor where you fall. My best friend had sex all the way up to the final weeks... I had to stop at around 20. It depends on your risk and sexual stimulation, like even stimulating your nipples is said to cause contractions because it's the same release of hormones as an orgasm and it's said to bring on labor. Being pregnant with twins already puts you at high risk since they say twin births are more likely to be preterm. If you decide to do it anyway i hear doggy style, spooning and if he's upright with you on your left side is the most comfortable.

You can continue having sex right up to the end of your pregnancy. Just make sure it is in a comfortable position, which may be hard with twins (no pun intended!! ha ha).
Also having sex is a good way of starting labour. So if you are late, a little of what you fancy can do good!!
Have fun x

I am pregnant with twins and 33 weeks. My husband and I have NOT had intercourse but have done other things. My Dr told us, "Nothing in the vagina." If your Dr didnt tell you not too I dont see why you should be scared!! Sex at that stage in the pregnancy is wonderful!!! Remember its the last couple of weeks you will have before your life changes and you dont have time for sex!!! Good Luck!!!

At your stage of pregnancy with twins i would say go for it, a lot of twins would probably have been born by now, so you are very lucky to have those babies inside you still!!! As long as it isn't to uncomfortable for you then take it easy, and it will most likely induce your labor. Good luck xxx

No problem unless the dr said otherwise. Supposedly sex can help bring on labor, but there's really no proof of it. And 37 wks is full term, and really impressive with twins I might add :-)

Advocates of "natural childbirth" claim that having sex while pregnant is a form of excercise that helps the vaginal distention. Some friends of mine practiced that even in late stages of her pregnancy and it appears nothing wrong happened (incidentally, they were expecting twins too).
Just to be sure, ask your gynecologist!

They advise you to try sex as a way to induce labour! So it should be OK as long as your waters haven't broken and you haven't been given any reason not to have sex by your doctor or midwife.

Its perfectly fine unless your partner has a massive...well ya know. And with twins you have made it well past when they usually expect the babys to be born.
Have fun :)

Unless you're bleeding, you water has started to leak, or your DR has told you not to, there is no reason that you cannot have sex. However, wanting to at that stage of pregnancy is another topic entirely! lol Good luck!
