My mom got an immigrant visa from Greece. They told her that she has until 3/7 to enter the USA. She might not be able to make it to the US by 3/7 however, because of personal hardship. She is worried that she might loose the visa number. What can we do to prevent this from happening?

She can actaully go and tell the Visa office if they can renew it. Same thing happened to my cousins in Palastine and they just renewed it.
Good luck!

If March 7th is the last day to enter legally and she cannot, would think she would have to get at the end of the line and start all over again.

Embassies are strict, but not irrational.

If you have a VERY valid reason for 'personal hardship', then they will most probably be willing to help you. Ofcourse, you have to prove to them that youre not sh**ing them!

Why does she not stay in greece? I really beleive theres enough people in America. IF they dont allow her back in then she needs to re-apply and do it the legal way.
